Johnson, of West Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan.  It is pre-1915; Grand River Avenue was paved in 1915.  The location is looking west from the 400 block of West Grand River, where the Masonic Lodge is now, and where Russell Smith Company was in the 1950's.   The name of the person in the photograph is unknown.
